What I'll bring with me to high school

The thing I would take with me to high school would be to not respond to what people say to me or what they say about me. The reason why I think that this is an important thing to take with me to high school is because when you let people get to you they see that you are a weak person and they won’t stop bothering you. Then that would make your high school years terrible. Also most of the things people say about you aren’t true so it shouldn’t bother you so much.
The reason why I say, “If you show that what they say gets to you they’re going to keep on doing it” is because they see that you get irritated easily and they are not going to stop. People like to see others mad because they want them to go through the same pain they’re going through. To me I think that’s stupid and people need to grow to up. I just believe that you shouldn’t let people push you around.
Also some stuff people say to you is not true and they trying to make you feel bad. Most of the time the reason why they bother you is because they’re jealous or they’re having a bad time in their life and they want others to feel their pain. And you have to just ignore people because it would just make it easier for them to annoy you. Sooner or later the things people say to you wouldn’t affect you as much as it used too.
Sometimes the things people say to you are not true, and if you know that it’s not true then why bother to get all hype up over nothing. See, that’s how the people that bother you want you to react. If you choose to react to the situation differently that just means you’re more mature. Then you will go through life much easier than the people that try to bring others down. The reason why it doesn’t bother me as much is because to me there is no use arguing when there is nothing to argue about, and especially when it’s not true.
That is why I want to take these three things with me to high school because I think it will be a good thing to take with me for the rest of my life. I know that some things people say might get to me but I have to be more mature and let things go. Because whatever I choose to do in life I would have to live with the consequences.
